Reasons for sowing
. Improves the quality and quantity of forage produced for grazing.

. Grazing can begin in mid-November/December, once the plants’ development and soil conditions permit it
. If the aim is to keep the grassland for the following year, animals should be removed during the flowering period
. Ensure that at the end of summer dry forage is consumed before the new autumn rains
